Skilled Trades Day with our #AIFamily in New Jersey

May 2025, New Jersey locations – The first Wednesday of May each year is National Skilled Trades Day, a day set aside to celebrate the dedication, talent, and impact of those who chose a career in the skilled trades. Our Electrical Trades Technology #AIFamily took time out to honor the moment with sweet treats and fun (and t-shirts to ‘stay grounded’ lol) on campus. American Institute is honored to play a role with this group of passionate instructors and students who embody the spirit of hands-on learning and pursuing a career in the trades.

Our Electrical Trades Technology program is designed to prepare students to learn to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain low-voltage electrical systems. Using tools like voltage testers, ohmmeters, and the National Electrical Code (NEC), our students gain hands-on experience in a supportive, career-focused environment. It’s all part of the American Institute Way—where education meets empowerment, and every student is supported on their educational journey towards their future.
