American Institute Honors Earth Day 2026

April 22, 2026, All NJ locations – In celebration of Earth Day for 2026, American Institute students, staff, and faculty got creative! The Cherry Hill, Clifton, and Somerset, NJ locations decorated rocks to help beautify the campus and remind everyone of the beautiful world we’re privileged to inhabit. Participants transformed ordinary stones into colorful works of art, each carrying messages or designs inspired by nature. These decorated rocks now serve as lasting reminders throughout the campuses of the beauty of our planet and the shared responsibility to care for it.

Meanwhile, the Toms River campus brought a coastal touch to the festivities. Students and staff decorated seashells, paying tribute to the oceans and marine ecosystems that are such an important part of our environment. The project showcased their creativity and encouraged reflection on the role oceans play in sustaining life on Earth.

Earth Day at American Institute is an opportunity to unite the campus community around sustainability and stewardship. Activities like rock and seashell decorating may seem simple, but they can help create powerful moments of connection, sparking conversations about conservation and inspiring individuals to think about their environmental impact.

By engaging in these creative expressions, participants were reminded that protecting the planet starts with awareness and small, meaningful actions. Whether it’s reducing waste, conserving resources, or simply appreciating nature, every effort contributes to a healthier future.

Thank you to everyone who joined in these events and for all you do to help our world be a better place for all of us!
