Aging Care Academy Offered at American Institute in West Hartford

March 15, 2016, West Hartford, CTHebrew HealthCare has partnered with American Institute in West Hartford to offer students and graduates valuable education in caregiving. Aging Care Academy is designed to assist individuals in caring for older adults with memory impairments.

Aging Care Academy offers geriatric health experts, specialists and partners in elder law, finance and related fields that provide not only knowledge and skills but also support to caregivers of aging patients/family. Those who have completed courses become more comfortable in their knowledge base, allowing them to caregive with confidence. Classes are offered in college seminar-style, and are informative and informal; flexible class times encourage a comfortable, convenient and stress-free environment.

We are excited about this new partnership, which will benefit both organizations by providing an opportunity for more individuals to attend classes. The program classes will be offered to exclusively to American Institute students/graduates at a discounted rate, and also to the public at the normal $20 rate. Classes begin in April at American Institute, located at 99 South Street in West Hartford and are continuing through June 1, 2016. To register or for more information, please go to
