This theory and laboratory-based program integrates lectures, hands-on activities, instructor-led training, and a clinical externship creating an understanding of medical terminology, patient care methods and techniques, and infection control measures. Students receive training in phlebotomy, electrocardiogram (ECG) procedures, and additional ECG skills for monitoring cardiac health. As part of their education, students will complete a clinical externship in a healthcare facility. Students will receive course preparation to sit for the Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) examination. Graduates must meet eligibility requirements to sit for the examination.
