April 17, 2018, Margate, FL – Connecting with others in your field, vocalizing your interests and career goals, and building relationships with companies has always been important part in successful job hunting. To support our #AIFamily in their job search and career growth, the Career Services team in Margate held a job fair on campus for both graduating students and alumni where they could network together and with employers to further their careers.“The students and alumni were so excited for the career fair. It was definitely a day full of opportunity and learning experience for the students.” said Maria Amador, Director of Career Services.
A total of 15 companies joined the career fair, representing each program offered at the Margate campus. Rooster, Element, Massage Envy, Step by Step Therapeutics, Hand and Stone, Facial Mania Spa, Hair Cuttery, Pediatrics Associates, One Blood, Golden Touch In-Home Massage, JCPenny Salon, Ulta Beauty, Hydra Bar Salon, InStyle by Angelo, and Soothe Massage all came out to meet with students and alumni and interview them for potential positions in the future.
“It was an amazing event with great feedback from both the employers and students,” said Amanda McLure, Campus President. “Attendees got a chance to talk with and learn from the companies and each other, making this a ‘not to be missed’ event for our American Institute students and graduates.”
