Admission Procedures for First Time Applicants

American Institute encourages the applications of qualified students regardless of race, sex, color, religion or national origin.

All applicants are required to complete an on-campus personal interview with an admissions representative. The interview enables school administrators to determine whether an applicant is a qualified candidate for enrollment in the program. Parents, children and/or significant others are encouraged to participate in the admissions interview and tour the facility. Once the applicant has been interviewed, he or she may apply for admission to the school. For a student to be considered for admission, all supporting documents and paperwork must be submitted, which include (but are not limited to):

• Application for admission
• Admissions disclosures and information forms
• High school diploma or GED
  (Note: For Diagnostic Medical Sonography programs, students must demonstrate evidence in the form of an official transcript of EITHER a Bachelor’s Degree in any major OR an Associate’s Degree from an allied health patient care related program including a clinic internship/externship)
• Satisfactory personal interview conducted on campus
• Completed financial aid forms (for those wishing to apply)
• Enrollment agreement
• Registration fee

Admissions applications are reviewed by the Director of Admissions and/or the Campus President.
